Hi! This Is the First Post!

Yesterday, I discovered that Comcast has discovered a whole new way to rip me off.

I'm tired of it.

This is my way of fighting back and helping others to fight back against all the slings and arrows of our current depression.

What is that, you ask?

Well, I'm glad you asked.

The "experts" have been calling this a recession because they don't want to call attention to how badly the previous administration has wrecked the economy.

But it was a recession four or five years ago. Now it's a full-blown depression. If you don't believe me, check out this article about the Great Depression on Wikipedia. Please read through the article. It'll sound very familiar (except for the dust bowl).

Anyway, five years and four days ago, I had a job.

Then I didn't.

During the entire intervening time, I have not had a real, full-time job. I have had a part time job, and some work when some people needed some extra help. In the meantime, the people providing the part time job were forced out of business by the economy a bit more than a year ago, and it's been about a year since the other company needed any help.

In the meantime, I've been homeless, and had my car repossessed.

Fortunately, I'm 65, and Social Security has kicked in. Otherwise, I'd still be homeless.

I don't know much about living in this strange new economy,  but I'm learning fast, and I intend to pass on whatever helpful information I can find about dealing with the rip-offs, and finding ways to do things differently to save money.

I'll tell you about Comcast tomorrow.

Remember, we're all in this together!
